On Wednesday, April 5th, 2017, Spoons Across America held its 3rd Annual Spring Benefit at The JW Marriott Essex House. This year’s honorees were Rachael Ray and Ferguson Enterprises, Inc.

“Television personality, celebrity cook, magazine editor, and author Rachael Ray was honored for her dedication to empowering children and their families to develop healthy relationships with food. Through her work in television and print, Rachael has inspired families to explore cooking and eating meals together.

Spoons Across America Logo2017 Corporate Honoree Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. was honored for its commitment to bringing attention to the importance of healthy nutrition and family meals with its Future Foodies program at Ferguson showrooms for children and parents in the communities it serves.”

More than 200 guests took part in the evening of fundraising for Spoons Across America programs, including Farm to Book, Take a Taste with Spoons, Spoons Recipe Days, The Dinner Party Project® and New York Agriculture Literacy Week.

Spoons Across America Mission Statement: Spoons Across America,® the recipe for healthier children, is a 501 (c)(3 not-for-profit organization dedicated to educating children, teachers, and families about the benefits of healthy eating. We work to influence the eating habits of children through hands-on education that celebrates the connection to local farmers and the important tradition of sharing meals around the family table.
