The Howard Johnson Executive-in-Residence Program Will Welcome Its Inaugural Guest, Chef Jacques Pépin, On November 29, 2016

September 28, 2016, Boston, Mass: The Boston University School of Hospitality Administration has announce a newly established program, the Howard Johnson Executive-in-Residence Program which is being funded by a $100,000 gift from William H. Weeks and the Howard Johnson Foundation.

Summer, Food, Family and Friends: A game of Boules with Jacques Pepin“Summer afternoon, summer afternoon; to me those have always been the two most beautiful words in the English language.” Henry James.

The game of boules, otherwise known as pétanque, is perhaps the sport that is closest to French hearts. Similar to Italian bocce, the French version is traditionally played with metallic balls on a dirt surface beneath plane trees, with a glass of pastis at hand.

Simply Ming” is a James Beard and Emmy-nominated public television series hosted by chef Ming Tsai.

Returning to his downtown Boston kitchen for the shows 14th season, the award-winning chef is taking cooking at home to a whole new level. With a background of Boston’s historic cityscape, Ming welcomes his many chef friends, including Jacques Pepin.
