Jacques to be Honored with Statue in Stonington

“Statue of Legendary Chef Jacques Pépin was unveiled at Harvest Tribute Event at Stone Acres Farm in Stonington Event to benefit the Yellow Farmhouse Education Center & the Jacques Pépin Legacy Fund”

“Legendary Chef Jacques Pépin was honored with a bronze statue designed by world-renowned sculptor Zenos Frudakis and installed at Stone Acres Farm in Stonington, CT. To celebrate this once-in-a-lifetime event, the Yellow Farmhouse Education Center  partnered with The Jacques Pépin Foundation to host a Harvest Tribute fundraising event on Sunday, October 13, 2019 to benefit The Jacques Pépin Legacy Fund and the Yellow Farmhouse Education Center.”

“The day began with a harvest festival with farm-inspired activities, live-cooking demonstrations, an artisan market, pétanque, food from 85th Day Restaurant Group (Engine Room, Grass & Bone, Oyster Club) and live music from Pat McGee Band. Guests gathered for the unveiling of the statue and a champagne toast.”

All proceeds raised at the event go directly towards the Yellow Farmhouse Education Center and the Jacques Pépin Legacy Fund.
