From the earliest stages of his career, Jacques has always willingly shared his knowledge and experience with the general public and with students interested in the culinary arts. Jacques will be honored as the subject of an episode of a new PBS “American Masters” series called “Chef’s Flight.” The first episode, titled “Jacques Pepin: The Art of Craft”, had it’s world premiere in San Francisco. And will air on PBS stations in May.
On Friday, April 28, 2017, Feast it Forward kicks off “Feast Interactive” in a big way with chef Jacques Pepin joining Feast’s “official wine sponsor” B Wise Vineyards for their very first #FEASTinteractive. 14 guests will personally experience this private event live, in the kitchen, with chef Pepin. On Thursday, April 27, 2017, Feast it Forward, with support from KQED, PBS and WNET Thirteen New York, will present the World Premiere Screening of American Masters — Jacques Pépin: “The Art of Craft.” The event will feature in person conversation with Chef Pepin, Director Peter Stein & Feast it Forward Founder, Katie Hamilton Shaffer.
